To browse sirens, look on Federal Signal's website. They have sample audio files for most if not all of their sirens.

If you want to watch videos of sirens, go to youtube.com and type in federal model 7 or federal model 5. That will bring up videos of those sirens.

The guy that posts the majority of the good house siren vids on youtube also sells them.

This summer Triangle Communications installed some of Federal's Eclipse 8 sirens at Camp Mack. You can get the info and sounds at http://www.federalwarningsystems.com....php?prodid=40

Hiya Willie, it is I..Fritzy of the House Siren realm LOL. You can go go to Youtube to see videos, http://www.jmarcoz.com/sirens/sirenarchive.htm for pictures of sirens and my all time favorite http://www.airraidsirens.com to talk about them. The siren we used to have in Columbia was a Fedealcode Model 7, it went to Craley as you know. The siren was a 7.5hp model and had 12 ports so it was a high tone siren.... most Model 5 or 7 sirens you find on youtube would sound the same.

The Federal Eclipse 8 is the newest siren made by Federal Signal company, the H means that they have horns to amplify the sound. They all run on DC power or more specifically large car batteries so they will work with or without outside power (such as when the electric goes out). What are they used for at Camp Mack??? I have to go and check it out!!
