Anybody have anything new to report -new/used - sold ?

Listed below are one that I know of:

LANCASTER CITY-Their 1994 Emergency One tower is OOS due to those dreaded electrical problems. They are using Engine 4, the 1984 Mack CF engine till the tower returns from the shop.

Many thanks,

Bruce

Bruce,
Any visions in your crystal ball about any new apparatus in zone 1?

Chief 2-7,
Will this be an addition or replacing one of the current engines?

My opinion doesn't represent or voice the official position of the The United States Army, National Rifle Assoc., or CC DES, so why do people think everything someone says represents the fire company they particpate with??!??

The Blue Ball Fire Company has agreed to purchase the following from the Honey Brook Fire Company:

1991 International 4900LP/ProTrac, full cab, custom enclosed walk-in squad, diesel, automatic. It has a 12' body and a 12 Kw Onan diesel generator. Hope to get around May 1st.

Lancaster City - I understand their new engine is in. It will be at Expo for all to see.

Anything else happening ?

Bruce

One question regarding Blue Ball's Purchase, what will the unit designation be for this unit? Will this put the Mack Out Of Service?

Thanks

From talking to some of the members there, yes the International will replace the Mack and run on accidents, spill control and manpower hauler.

Squad 33 will become Squad 3-2.

Last time I talked to a 3-2 member about it, the current Squad 3-2 (Mack) will be taken out of active service, but at that time it was not yet decided if they are going to keep it or sell it.

I personally hope they keep it. That old Mack rocks...
